More than a non-profit.
Konscious Ubuntu is a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC) based in Johannesburg. Since 2018, we have worked to empower youth and transform communities through programmes rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu: “I am because we are.”
At the heart of our work is a holistic model that brings together housing, paid training, workforce development and supportive services, creating lasting pathways for young South Africans to rebuild their lives.

Our programmes
Arts and culture integration.
Participants build marketable skills in the arts: co-running fundraising events and entertainment, developing marketing and content, curating artwork, and editing audio and video.
Art therapy
Painting, drawing, crafts, sculpture and ceramics. Works are shown throughout our facilities and at art exhibitions.
Design therapy
Drawing, sewing, needlework and crochet, brought together in fashion creation.
Arts and culture, sports and recreation are not luxuries. They are essential tools for restoring dignity, fostering unity, and inspiring hope.
